lyrics
Gefangen im Leben, des tristen Alltags Sklaven
die Stimmen des Zweifel, (der) Sinnlosigkeit
sie schreien jeden Tag
gefesselt von Weltlichkeit, ihr seid ein Trugbild
des Zeitgeist, ein haufen Stimmen ohne Freiheit
sie schreien jeden Tag
Götter sterben, Engel weinen
wo der Geist der Freiheit weht,
Katharsis
verblenden den Verstand im sinnlos blinden Glauben,
verpassten sie die wahre Essenz, die im Inneren scheint
sie schreien jeden Tag
ihr seid verloren
ohne Willen
Satan zeigt den Weg, zur Freiheit
Erhebet euch, ihr Suchenden
wo Dunkelheit sich breitet
im Glanz der wahren Wirklichkeit
Katharsis entfaltet sich
wir scheinen jeden Tag
What an impressive piece of black metal. This one-man hurricane is pure art. Sgah‘gahsowáh creates an haunting atmosphere. He puts so much soul in his music. Sælzer Bub
The atmosphere of this album is fantastic. Makes you feel like you're knee-deep in the trenches drenched in mud, filth, sweat, and blood. Truly encapsulates the horrors of World War I, and the fact that the lyrics of some of the songs are taken from old war letters really adds to the authenticity.
Favorite Track(s): Die Feuertaufe, Grabenlieder edoerfler
Extraordinary work by Antrisch, can't stop listening to it although Black Metal usually struggles to convince me.
Same like for Antrisch's EXPEDITION I: Dissonanzgrat applies: This album is strong from its first sounds of creaking wooden hull to its last sounds of wind and waves, deciding for a favourite track would not do justice for the geniality of the remaining five, the one coming closest to a favourite one could be I FESTGEFROREN - Packeisfalle in my opinion. onkelchristoph
